Wedding Shannon & Bryan

I will never forget the first time meeting Shannon, we quickly figured out we both shared the love of coffeeeee…Starbucks to be exact ![]()
Right away we hit it off, which is what we are always looking for when meeting our couples.
We feel it’s very important for both sides to connect.

Shannon and Bryan’s day was so beautiful!
They were married at The Purple Iris in Martinsburg WV.
A gorgeous sunny day, not too hot and not too cold…everything was just right.

She was so stunning and Bryan so very handsome.

We can’t say enough as to how much we enjoyed the couple.
Bryan was one of the most polite, helpful grooms we have ever met.
Not once did I have to carry a light because Bryan was quickly by my side making sure to carry it.
A total gentleman for sure!
Shannon being so easy going and so in charge of making sure everyone was where they needed to be at all times.
The girls were on time ready for photos to the minute…it was so awesome.

As always they came to our place for their VIP Screening and she was brought to tears from the overwhelming experience of reliving their perfect day.
I’ve said this many times and I will say it again, it’s truly the best part of our job…it has to be much like the florist delivering flowers and seeing the person’s face when they open the door.
Pure joy!

Shannon and Bryan, we love you both and hope our friendship continues to grow!!!
May your lives together be full of love, laughter and happiness.
Most important, make sure you remain best friends
It may be “Erin it’s a Wrap” but never a Wrap on our Friendship ![]()

Wedding Chris & Jenn

July 24th, 2010 the HOTTEST day of the year heat index reaching 110 degrees.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen…we had a wedding to shoot outside.

Chris & Jenn’s wedding took place at the Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling, VA.
They hired us not only for our wedding work, but also for our fun photo booth!
We arrived at 10am to set up the photo booth, thank goodness this was an indoor event.
Met up with Chris and Jenn later in the afternoon, the hottest part of the day to be exact.
Even though we found a bit of shade, we were all dripping within an hour.
Never throughout all of our weddings, or shoots have we been this hot.
But some how we all made it through.

Chris and Jenn were such great sports and made sure we were well hydrated and cooled off as much as possible throughout.
Can’t thank them enough for that.
Chris and Jenn weren’t the only ones making sure everyone was doing ok within this intense heat.
The FireFighters also made a journey throughout the park that day.
Upon their journey they decided to stop and ask if we would enjoy shooting on the firetruck!
Who would ever say no to that?
We quickly gathered up the lights and hopped upon the big red truck!

We have enjoyed this couple from the very start, Chris is such a funny guy and I will miss his emails so much.
(Chris if you are reading this…feel free to send me your amusing emails at any given time)
Jenn is such a sweet girl, so calm and so natural.
Really did enjoy both of them so very much.

The photo booth was also crazy-fun!
The guests and wedding party were all so much fun….and the booth was the hit of the reception.

Of course most of you know the famous “Erin it’s a Wrap” shot….well this is the hottest, reddest, craziest “Erin it’s a Wrap” shot YET!

After returning from their honeymoon it was time for their VIP Screening in the Snapp-Shot Screening Room.
They were overjoyed with their photos and as always this was our favorite part of the job.
Seeing their eyes light up as they re-live their day was such an amazing feeling.

They also brought us not one, but TWO Rocks from their trip to add to the Snapp-Shot Sharpie Stone Collection!!!
One they picked up upon their feet and the other a beautiful egg shaped rock native to Jamaica that they purchased for us…so sweet they bought a gift for us
Chris and Jenn, we hope our friendship doesn’t end here.
We look forward to continuing our friendship throughout and of course keeping up to date with the home owner dramas!
May you have a love filled marriage

A White Wedding in Washington DC!
July 3, 2010

Each and every wedding has something I will never forget within them, of course first and foremost being the couple.
We are truly blessed to get to know the most awesome couples ever!
Suzanne and Travis were no accept ion to the rule.
Such a sweet and fun couple!
Their were two things that were slightly different in their big day.
One = Wyat, their Chocolate Lab. Truly the sweetest and well behaved dog ever!
Two = The Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC…the picture perfect place for amazing photos.

This was definitely one of those days where we wish we had just a little more time to capture more photos…I mean who wouldn’t right?

Of course this would not be a Snapp-Shot Wedding without “Erin it’s a Wrap”

About a week later, we had their VIP Screening in “the Wrap-Room”
We love every aspect of our job, but the VIP Private Screening is what hits our hearts.
Here we show our couples, friends and family their fusion dvd, their book, and their photos…then of course end the night with “Snapp-it’s a Wrap” shot.
It may be a wrap to the ending of your big day, but it’s just the beginning of a new life together as husband and wife and it’s also a newly found friendship with us!

Wedding Heather & Mike

We do enjoy the non-traditional day, and sure enough Heather and Mike gave us that!
Heather having her “guy” best-friend as one of her brides maids, Mike wearing a kilt, bagpiper, and full guest shot after the ceremony…they rocked it!

When first meeting with Heather and Mike, we were forewarned that Mike did not like having his photo taken.
Of course this worried us a bit with all that goes into our photos! The dramatic lighting, the poses, etc. etc.
We are proud to say that we “WON” Mike over by the end of their big day.
He enjoyed working with us, and he loved the photos presented to him at their VIP VIEWING.

Heather was so sweet, thanking us throughout for every little thing…she also made sure we were very well taken care of at the reception dinner.
Truly a sweetheart.

One of their shots is probably one of the most daring we have ever done with our couples
Heather didn’t ask or think twice when I asked her to sit on a ledge of a 7 story building, we all had to fight with the sun, poor things had to keep their eyes shut at all times until we took the shot.
But they were both awesome sports!
Then the final shot, Corey and I were so into looking at this awesome shot……suddenly….we heard Mike and Heather saying….nooooooo….then…..crash!
Yes our light had blown over and was shattered. Thankfully it was just the bulb.
But still this made this shot our $70 shot. haha..thankfully we love it.

We can’t say enough how nice both Heather and Mike are.
They even brought us a gift that Mike picked out from their big RedSox game!!
So sweet they thought to bring “us” a gift…thank you both.

Wedding Danielle & Justin

May 30th, 2010 Danielle & Justin said “I do” and we were there to capture every minute of it.
Such a cute couple inside and out.
Danielle with her quiet and so pretty self, and Justin full of himself with his craziness and funky dance moves!
The best of both worlds within one couple…makes for a perfect marriage ![]()

From day one, the put everything in our hands.
Trusted us to do as we saw it…and that we did…brick wall and all!
Yes ladies and gentleman, she is laying on the black asphalt with her very white gown!
Such a trooper she was

Danielle so stunning, so beautiful…but never even realizing it for a moment.
This made her even more beautiful. She truly is a beautiful person.

And Justin so handsome and so proud of his beautiful bride.

We told them over and over we just wish we had a full day to just “play”
We truly could have photographed them forever.

And of course as you all know….we wouldn’t be the Snapps without the famous
“Erin it’s a Wrap” shot ![]()

Their VIP presentation at our place was also perfect.
They loved every photo, the dvd, and loved the presentation.
Such a fun couple! We hope to stay in close touch with them.
All our love to Danielle and Justin!!!
Thank you for gift of wine!!!

Wedding Kelly & Alex

Many of you might remember the fun Engagement Shoot we did with Kelly and Alex!
If not, here is a little refresh…..

Their big day was finally here! May 2010
They asked us to spend the entire weekend them to take part in the wedding festivities, in the Baltimore area.
The Weekend Began early for an early morning wedding rehearsal.
Everyone was so nice, so excited, and the church was so beautiful!

The wedding party looked adorable as they all were decked out in matching graphic tees made by Kelly’s sister!
Really cute

After Rehearsal we were able to check into our very nice hotel that Kelly and Alex booked for us.
But of course before checking in, it was C-O-F-F-E-E time for us!

Later that Evening….
We ventured over to the Oh so very nice Rehearsal Dinner.
Everything was perfectly planned, the food was great, and Alex’s parents were so welcoming to us!

After Dinner, back to our hotel for a good night’s sleep….chocolate on our pillow and all!

The Next Day….their big day is finally here!

We also are so excited because we had the pleasure of meeting a Makeup/Hair artist who we loved not only her talent, but her personality as well!
We highly recommend her ladies ![]()
Ashley Riddle of Up-Do For I Do’s www.updosforidos.com
They decided to see one another before the ceremony.
This was so much fun!
We were able to take part in this private moment with them, as Alex set eyes on his beautiful bride Kelly for the first time.
Us capturing every part of it.
There were tears shed, speechless moments, and lots of hugs.
A precious time indeed.

Then away we went to rock some formals!!

Then to the most amazing ceremony!
Very beautiful.

After their ceremony, the reception was held at the Baltimore Zoo Mansion house!
Off to the zoo we go!

A really cool thing that Kelly requested, was a full “Guest/Group” shot on the steps as they were announced at the reception. It was definitely a round up, but everyone did so well and we got the shot!
It was awesome ![]()

I will end this blog with one of the most beautiful shots, that I feel kind of shows their emotion.
They look so happy, so calm, so glad to be at the reception, so proud that they said “I do”
May I introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. LaFleur Vernet ![]()

Love to you both!!!!
Of course what would a Snapp-Shot Wedding be without the VIP PRESENTATION???
Their presentation was amazing!!
Kelly was brought to tears and was sooooo very happy!
What an awesome reward for us.
We really enjoyed them ![]()
And do you believe they presented US with a GIFT before we started the presentation?!?!
Awwwww so sweet ![]()

Here you can see their expressions when they were watching their dvd!!

Kelly wiping the tears of joy

Enjoying their book

Wedding Kerbe & Lee

What can I say about Kerbe and Lee.
Two of the sweetest people ever and even though we don’t ask people to smile much in photos…she truly has the prettiest smile I’ve ever seen.
They are both truly beautiful on the inside and out! And she is also the cover of the brand new SS Business Card ![]()

After getting to know Kerbe and Lee a bit, we realized the church just would not work for what we visualized for them in photos.
We met up one evening with Kerbe, Lee, and Carole (Lee’s mom)
We suggested shooting their photos in their nearby downtown area of Strasburg, VA…they of course trusted our vision and were so excited we were going out of our way to get these shots.

We woke up to yet another crazy-windy-day…and I mean crazy!
But who cares, we would get these photos no matter what.
The girls and the guys were a blast to work with, Lee’s Mom was simply amazing!
She welcomed us in her home and in her family right away and we are truly grateful for this.
They all made sure we were taken care of throughout the day and at the reception, I can’t say enough good things about this day we had the honor of spending with Kerbe and Lee West.

After they returned from their honeymoon…as a Snapp-Tradition, we met up for their presentation at our place.
As always, all were welcome.
They brought their Mom, BridesMaid and Groomsmen Kristin and Tim along with them to join in on the big VIP moment.
OmGoodness, it’s always so much fun to see the reactions on their faces, hear the excitement in their voices and receive the hugs and tears as they re-live the most important day of their lives.
And all because of what we do…our photos ![]()

Such an awesome job that turns into so much more….friendships to be cherished always.
All our love to Kerbe, Lee, Carole, the rest of the family, and the guys and girls!
All of you 100% rock!

Wedding Karen & Kevin

Music Produce Kevin Gutierrez of Assembly Line Studios says yes to Karen!!!!
We had the privileged of working with Kevin and Karen on their big day.
We met Kevin within the music industry, he has produced many albums and is so very talented.
Also loved by many.

What a fun wedding, Kevin promised me it would be very chill and indeed it was.
They decided not to have a wedding party, which in the end gave us a more relaxed time with them one on one.
They were both so very beautiful as you can see.
We had so much fun working with these two!
Such an awesome couple.

We very much look forward to continuing our friendship with this awesome couple.
As Kevin would say “Rock” ![]()

We couldn’t wait to present their photos to them in their very own VIP Presentation.
And we brought Karen to tears and at that very moment, is when I realized we did what we set out to do.
Moments like these are times I will cherish in my heart always and is why we love our job so much.

Wedding “Cyndi & Eric”
April 23, 2010 by Erin Snapp

APRIL 17, 2010 HAD TO BE THE WINDIEST WEDDING DAY TO GO DOWN IN HISTORY!!
Cyndi & Eric’s wedding took place at the beautiful Musket Ridge Golf Club in Myersville, MD.
Their wedding coordinator told us “if it’s windy elsewhere, triple that amount of wind here at Musket Ridge”
Indeed she was correct.
The chairs blew over, the dresses blew, the veil blew, and we could not feel our fingertips by reception time.
The thing is, we have always said “rain or shine, wind or calm, we will get the shot if at all possible”
Cyndi and Eric looked like models they entire day.
Really beautiful people and the moment we said “strike a pose”, they did!
Once again we got the shot and so many more!
This is when we wish we had allllll day to work with the couples.
We are truly blessed to always have amazing couples to work with and when they are this beautiful and this easy going it makes
our job so much fun!
Cyndi and Eric were just awesome!
Cyndi and Eric’s family and wedding party were so much fun to work with! The girls were oh so pretty, and the guys were over the top fun!
They made us feel comfortable from the start, had no questions when we asked them to pose certain ways, they trusted us 100% and were truly grateful for us being there.
Last night was the big Private VIP Screening of the photos.
Cyndi’s Mom and Dad drove over an hour just to get here.
We were so thrilled to have them join the happy couple.
As we have always said “presenting the photos is our favorite part of the job”
There is nothing better in the world than seeing the looks on their faces and hearing their reactions when they see their photos and view their dvd for the very first time in the privacy of our screening room!
It’s such an awesome experience!
We wish Cyndi and Eric all the best in the world and we very much look forward to this new friendship we have created with them!!
Of course “I” had to jump in for a fun “Erin it’s a Wrap” shot with the crazy-ass guys!!!
They were SOOOO much fun! Loved these guys, made my day!
And then with the happy couple
